Hello and thank you for this very useful and powerful plugin!

I’d like to ask if the sidebar widget “(PG) Forums List” can be made to show subforums indented under their parents. I thought I read something about this, but I can’t find it any more.

Alternatively, is it possible to hide Categories from the Forums List?

sorry for the delay in replying – I’m busy building a couple of websites for clients.

I’ll try to pick this issue up as soon as I get a moment

Thank you, Robin, no problem, it’s not urgent.

I’ve taken a look at this.

The issue with listing forums and then sub forums is that I am reliant on how your theme styles the entries, so it could (probably will) appear as a garbled list.

So thinking about your other route – I came up with giving you the ability to list forums which you want users to see. This will allow you to exclude categories and just list sub forums, or a combination.

so within the widget you create a list of forums

    eg 2921, 2922,3655,4520

and the widget will display those from the list that the user is allowed to see filtered by their private groups setup.

I just need to finish some coding and hope to release in the next couple of days

I’ll post again when I have

I have just uploaded version 3.1.0 which incorporates this change
