hi, all bookings and cancellation emails to the client are being sent (in my case) from WordPress <[email protected]> and that kinda looks odd.

I would like to either change the sending address to a custom email address such as [email protected] etc. or entirely stop sending any notification email to the customer automatically and respond personally by forwarding the email i receive on my admin notification email, which i have set something like: [email protected].

any help in this issue is appreciated…

ps: the email goes out even when i have the Send Customer Notification Email unchecked in the appointment settings.

hey, and a BIG Thank You for such a wonderful plugin.

it’s been huge effort on your part am sure. but happy that a way (two actually) are found. will go through the video you have posted and try to test that as well.

    however:

    1. i still see the Business Name in bracket (Meditation.WTF) along with the client name as the sender. can we do something about it?

    2. client is not getting any email notification even when the Send Notification Email is checked.

thanks again for the amazing support.

    Hi @akhilz,

    1. We had put the name in brackets, so you know that it’s coming from your site. This is helpful so you could write a filter or search in your email for (Mediation.WTF) or when you see it, you know it’s an automated email, not directly from that person’s email address. It sounds like you’d prefer to just have the client’s name only?

    2. There may be a spam/delivery issue with the accounts you’re testing with, but the email is definitely going out to the client because when I was testing on your site, I received a confirmation email in my personal inbox. And just today, I actually got a cancelation notice (which is probably from you canceling it in the admin). See the image here:

    1. yes, it’s useful to know when a mail is automated, however, i think if we can put a more specific term like ‘Appointment’ or ‘New Appointment’ in the bracket instead of business/ website name it would be better as the websites may have more than one automated replies.

    2. yes, found the mail in my spam folder. my mistake.

    thanks once again.
