Change Starting Day?

I have installed this plugin but have a couple of questions, first i dont like how the week starts with sunday, a week starts on Monday can this be changed?

Also when i have seen screen shot of this in use it looks very fancy and neat looking and mine is very plain, have it dome something wrong?
