Change Start of OL Without Coding?

  • Hi everyone –

    I have a client who wants to be able to change the start value of ordered lists. I know how to do this using HTML, but the client is not comfortable using the HTML editor in WordPress.

    Does anyone know of a way that I could provide an easy way for the client to do this without requiring them to use any sort of code?

  • Maybe create a shortcode for them to use that incorporates the starting number as an attribute. When parsed, the shortcode could then just generate the list using HTML. See the Shortcode_API.
