    Hi,

I have a client site I just inherited with your plugin installed. The former website designer still has their site key and secret key in the Plugin settings and it is also set up for Version 2.

I would like to change the site key / secret key to ones that I set up in Google reCaptcha and then change the Version to V3.

Is there a specific process for deleting old keys and insterting new ones in the plugin to make sure nothing goes wrong?

I just wanted to be sure there isn’t a specific process I should be aware of before making such a change – I realize it probably sounds like a stupid question but when it comes to plugins I am unfailiar with I’d rather be safe than sorry.

    Thank you,

    Maggie

    Hi,

For each version of the reCaptcha, certain keys are formed, therefore, you first need to change the version of the reCaptcha and then generate the keys for it and insert them into the reCaptcha settings. We also recommend that if you ever want to return to version 2, generate new keys for it.
Don’t forget to test keys before saving changes.
How to change the reСaptcha version and generate new keys you can find in the reCaptcha user guide on our website.

    Hi,

    Thank you!

I switched it over to V3 and everything verified correctly.

    I appreciate your help!
