• I’m running UM 2.5.0. When I setup WP I installed it in a subdirectory (/site/) to keep things tidy. At the time I installed the UM plugin, the WP Settings were as follows:

    Wordpress Address (URL) = https://www.domain.com/site
    Site Address (URL) = https://www.domain.com

This is reflected in the UM “Install Info” tab.

I’m trying to change the Site Address (URL) to be the same as the WordPress Address (URL) because WP keeps logging users out after they leave the site. I can easily change this in Settings, but when I make the change, UM redirects users to a profile page after they login instead of the URL I have setup in UM – User Roles.

Can I edit the database or a file somewhere to make UM behave correctly after I change the Site Address (URL) in WP Settings?

    Hello @htmanning

You can follow the normal site migration process or if you have already moved files to the root directory, you can find a find and replace plugin and change the URL using the plugin.

Thanks, but I don’t want to migrate it to the root. I want to simply set the Site Address (URL) to be the same as the WordPress Address (URL) so the cookie doesn’t expire and log people out so often. I wont both the WordPress Address and Site Address to be https://www.domain.com/site/.
