• Hi,

I created a simple site and made it to be a static webpage.

In the settings under general the WordPress Address ends with https://xxxxx.se/wp
and the Site Address also ends with https://xxxxxx.se/wp

I want the site to be public with just the ending .se

How do I change this? When I change it in the settings I do not get access. I hade to reset a backup to gain access.
Do I have to do something more then change the name in the dashboard.

Please give a beginner some advice/Magnus

    Hi Again,

When I followed the suggested move of the files and the change of the addresses the webpage now works as expected.

But I lost my access to WordPress.
I tried to ask for a new login but the e-mail address can’t be found.

    Any advice what to do?

    Thanks/ Magnus

If it doesn’t remember your email address, you can try the username you used. If thats not working you need to check in phpmyadmin.

This may help (though step 1 is specific for goDaddy hosting)
