Change Separator in Title Tag

  • Hi!

    Although I have my site set to use a pipe | as a separator in the title tag, the Events page is using a hyphen – .

    To be clear, I’m referring to the title tag, not the page title. I mean what appears in the browser tab when you hover over it, not the page headline.

    This is what it looks like now: Events – Hidden Star Retreat

    I want it to look like this: Events | Hidden Star Retreat

    I’ve watched your tutorial videos, I’ve made modifications to the functions.php, but nothing is working. It’s such a simple thing, yet I can’t manage to get it to work.
