Is there a way to change the sender’s email address of [email protected]?

I want to replace the “noreply” part to a different one.

    Under ShopMagic Settings > General
I changed the “From” email to the desired email but it is not reflecting whenever I send a test email to verify that it changed.

    Hi @vinzmendoza123,

In ShopMagic it should work so that if you change under ShopMagic → General → Sender, then it is from that email that the messages will be sent. This setting should override the WordPress global settings. If you have the address set here and yet you still don’t get messages from this email then try to test if you change the admin email address to the same as in the ShopMagic tab (I mean the Settings → General tab) then does everything work correctly? Please let me know.

    Hello @dominikl65,

Yes, I set the sender email in ShopMagic settings and also the Settings -> General email but whenever I send a test email it is still using the noreply email address.

Does the test email use noreply email as sender or should the settings override it regardless whether it is a test email or not?

    Hi,

Please perform the following steps as intended (everything should then work correctly):
    1. Go to the settings page and enter the new address and sender name configured for ShopMagic. The settings are saved with a message that the saving was done correctly
    2. Go to edit automation and send a test message
    3. The message arrives in the recipient’s mailbox, but the sender does not match the set value

To see whether the theme is to blame, temporarily switch to the Storefront theme and test.

If you still have the problem, it could be a plugin conflict. Still with Storefront, temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and test. It should work now?

Reactivate one-by-one and test to try to identify which software element is causing the problem.

    Hi,

I haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Please don’t hesitate to open a new one if you encounter other issues while using our plugin.

    Have a fantastic day,
