Change Search Toggle Effect

  • Hello Kadence, I’d like to implement a different search toggle effect from the full-screen search effect that is currently there to the Generatepress-like one, whereby when you click it, a semi-transparent search bar covers your menu items and allows you to enter a term to search your site. If not at least like this Slide search or header cover search from Astra https://wpastra.com/introducing-search-styles/. I’d like to implement this for user experience!

    Also is there a way to selectively determine which header addons are on the tablet view and those that appear on the mobile view?

    We do not currently offer that option, however, that’s a great recommendation and I encourage you to submit your idea as a feature request here:

    As for hiding certain elements in mobile vs tablet, this requires custom CSS. We’ll be happy to help you with the CSS if you can specify the changes you’d like to make as well as share a link to your site.
