Change role of existing users to Customer at checkout?

    Hi,

    We use Jigoshop and have purchased several paid add-ons. I am hoping that there is some way to assign the role of Customer to users at checkout? Because I use a login redirect plugin to send users to the best page depending on if they are a customer or not.

    I know that Jigoshop assigns the role of Customer to new users created at checkout. But if a user already has an account and are simply a Subscriber, I would like them to be assigned the Customer role as part of their purchase.

    How can this be done?

    Hi Josh,

    I don’t believe there is a feature that would allow us to change user role at the checkout, but given the circumstances it sounds like something that we should consider as it might be useful for many Jigoshop users.
