Change restaurant location to drop-down menu

Hi,
two questions:
1. Is it possible, in the filter, to change the location input form to a drop-down menu?
2. When selecting more types in the restaurant type section, and certain restaurants only have 1 type selected, they would not show up. Is it possible to show all restaurants in the all selected types?
