Change register redirect from 302 to 301

    Hi, I’m hoping someone can tell me how to change Ultimate Member redirects from 302 to 301.
    Specifically, a redirect from /?action=register to my registration page.
    I can’t find a way around it. Even if I could disable the redirect in UM settings and then set it up another way, that would be helpful.

    Have you tried changing the redirection via .htaccess?

    Thanks for the link.
    I have tried changing via .htaccess just now and it’s still showing as 302 redirect.

    Hi @jumzoid

    Does this redirection occur even without the UM plugin? I think the redirection is being triggered by the WP core when the option “Anyone can register” is not check.

    Please see WP Admin > Settings > General > Membership.
