Hello – No, I’m afraid it’s not easy at the moment. See https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-group-email-subscription/issues/217, where I describe a potential centralized system where this would be easy.

In the meantime, you can use CSS to hide the unwanted options:

#ass-email-type_sub, #ass-email-type_supersub {
  display: none;
  visibility: hidden;
}

Thank you for the reply.
While it does work, the supersub is still checked by default and so when someone creates a group, if they don’t choose another option it will be set as “All Email” be default.
Is there a way to change the default check?

To have ‘No Email’ checked by default, try this:

add_filter(
  'ass_get_default_subscription',
  function( $sub ) {
    return 'no';
  }
);

Replace ‘no’ with ‘dig’ for Daily Digest, etc.
