Change “Read More” Text

  • I currently have a website that is using WooCommerce/WordPress and a custom designed theme. On my product category pages, whenever you hover over a product it shows the text “Read More” to view the product page. I’m trying to change this “Read More” text to “Shop Now”. I’ve tried going through the different theme files, but can’t find where I can change this text. I’ve also tried using several different general CSS, that have worked for more general themes, but none have worked so far. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Hi @celadormedia,

    Does your theme have an option for customising this? A number of themes have this facility in ‘Theme Options’ or the ‘Customiser’.

    If not, you could achieve this with a PHP snippet – but I’m not totally sure on the best way to do that. ??

    Check the theme options first though, as that will be the quickest way for you to make the change.
