Change product thumbnail aspect ratio

    Hello,

    in my case I have 4 image sizes for products (100×100, 250×250, 500×500, 1000×1000). I would like to know if there is a way (perhaps with a plugin) to automatically create a new thumbnail size which will add white space to the left and right of the original image, to achieve the proper FB aspect ratio (1.91:1)

    You can achieve the proper Facebook aspect ratio by using a plugin like “Regenerate Thumbnails” which allows you to add custom image sizes with your desired aspect ratio.

    For the white space, you might need additional image editing, either manually or with a plugin that has more advanced features such as “Smart Image Resize for WooCommerce.” This plugin can add the padding you need to maintain the aspect ratio without cropping your images. Remember to regenerate thumbnails afterward to apply the changes.
