change product status to out of stock

I’m not following you on the issue. Can you give some steps to reproduce the issue. What type of product is it? Can you take screenshots of this plugins settings?

They are variable products

Here is an example:

i have a product called “PRUEBA” with 3 color variations

each variation has 10 units in stock

When I add the total, that is, all 30 colors, the product shows as out of stock, But on the category page it shows as available

Can you take screenshots of the product backend page? I’m curious how “manage stock” is set. Is it enabled on the main product as well as each variation?

I have disabled the option to manage inventory at the product level

I’ll do some testing, I know I’ve tested that setup in the past and it was as you would expect but with WooCommerce they frequently make changes.

What version of WooCommerce are you using and what is your theme?

I have:

Woocommerce Version 4.5.2
Storefront Version: 2.7.0

Do you have some additional plugin (or setting I’ve missed) that shows the stock status on the shop page instead of the ‘Select options’? I’m trying using Shopfront 2.7.0 and don’t see a theme option to change that.

I have also done tests disabling this plugin.

I have done more tests with a clean installation of wordpress

I did some debugging and it looks like this is not going to be a simple fix. Changes to support this will require some extensive testing to make sure it doesn’t break something else and I’m not sure when I will have time to do that.

I’ll do some more thinking to see if I can come up with a workaround but I think it will require some major recoding of the plugin to make this work the way you expect.
