    Hello,

    the preferred countries are automatically taken from the languages installed on your WordPress. If you are seeing those languages, it means that you currently have both English and French languages installed.

    You can manually register new dial codes within the preferred list simply by installing new languages from the general settings of your WordPress.

    If you want to change the first dial code you see in the list, you can do that by editing the configuration of the phone number custom field:

    1. open the Global > Custom Fields page from the back-end of VikRestaurants;
    2. edit the “Phone Number” custom field;
    3. change the value currently selected for the Default Country dropdown;
    4. save the changes;
    5. repeat the same procedure for the custom fields of the take-away section.

    If you have a multilingual website, you can even translate the contents of the custom field to have a different country for each language. This way, you’ll be able to have a different default dial code depending on the current language of the user, such as “+33” for French and “+1” for English.

    The translation of the contents and the management of the custom fields are features provided by the PRO version of VikAppointments. If you are using the free version, you won’t be able to configure the default dial code to display within the list of preferred countries.
