Change post type with Automatic Import

  • For most of my videos I want to show up as a video post, but I would like to have one of myu automatic import options make videos a standard post that just includes the video Title, Video, and Description as content. Right now, I can only see that the video/standard post option is a global setting. Is there a way to allow different automatic import rules to change the post type?

    Hi,

    I have the PRO version, but I can’t see the option to change my automatic imports to select select a standard or video post type for each import action. That only seems to be a global setting.

    Also, if a video is imported as a “vimeo-video” post, can it then be changed to a standard post type later? I’m only getting 404 errors when I try to go to the post page link with either option.

    Thank you, now I understand your request. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to specify the post type for each automatic import. Further more, once a video is imported as either vimeo-video or regular post, when you change the option in plugin settings it won’t change the post type for already imported videos, only new ones will follow the rule.
