Change “post type” results page

    Hi, thanks for the great plugin!

    I know you can select which post types to search from the dashboard – which works great. However what I need to change is the actual results page, my website has 2 search functions (posts and downloads), these have 2 different sidebars. I need the search bar in the header to show the ‘downloads’ results page. In other words, I’m looking to change the URL of the search results to;

    https://setsailstudios.com/?s=search&post_type=download

    and not this, which is what you currently get;

    https://setsailstudios.com/?s=search&post_type=post

    Is there any way I change that?
