    Do not edit the theme’s stylesheet. Use a custom CSS plugin or create a child theme for your changes.

    Do you have an idea of what code I need to put in to change the posts area font?

    I don’t use that theme myself, so try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on to pinpoint the CSS that you need to over-write. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.
