All strings in wpDataTables you can modify or translate very easily using POEDIT or Loco translate. I suggest you to install Loco Translate and then to modify these strings.

I installed LOCO but i change strings US ENGLISH and doesnt respond. My language is not in the list in loco but plugin wpdatatables is translated and my strings are in spanish. Very Crazy?

i created my langauge but nothing occurred.

I dont found where change string “Search:” to change it to “SEARCH OTHER THINGS:” (for example), i changed in loco but doesnt do anything.

Desesperately. Support say to change by javascript. I dont know how

Hi Daniel,
When you change string for the English language over Loco translate and you get confirmation that PO and MO files are updated (see image ) and if your language on your website is English this should be updated (Unless you are using some cache plugins that cache HTML itself so you will need to clear it to see the changes.) (see image)

At the moment we do not have translate files for Spanish, but you create it from Loco then you will need to create folder es_ES in wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/languages because Loco only create PO and MO files in the languages folder.(see image) To be read by WordPress(when you use Spanish) you will need to insert in a folder that we already explain. (see image) In that folder, you can see examples for other languages. (see image) Like this those strings will be updated.
