Having hard time to figure it out and I tried everything.

    1) For WP permalinks I use Postname
    2) For Woocommerce permalinks I use custom base /shop/%product_cat%, but it doesn’t do what I want it to do. When I switch to custom base with /%product_cat% only my cart, checkout and other pages have 404 error.

My product urls looks like /shop/levis/levis-511-slim/

I want it to look like /levis/levis-511-slim/

Also I don’t understand why /shop/levis/ redirects back to /levis/levis-511-slim/ instead of showing all levi’s products under main categoy page. And then I have my real category page under /product-category/levis/. This is a big mess for me and I need help to fix all that.

I understand that category (Levi’s) I created is under WooCommerce settings (Prodcuts-Categories) and it can mess up WordPress default link structure, but I will avoid any conflicts. I will only have basic pages and will keep in mind not to have duplicate pages/url.

    Please help me!
