Hi. Just found Lifter and it looks like a beautiful plugin. I am disappointed however that by default the URL structure drops the course name when you are on a lesson page.

    How URLS work in Lifter:
“mysite.com/course-name” is the default. That’s fine.
But “mysite.com/lesson-one” is the default URL of my lesson – it omits the course name and I don’t see a way to create a parent structure.

Ideally course name and lesson name would be in URL, especially important for sites with multiple courses: “mysite.com/course-name/lesson-name”

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Hi @ms416

This is how it works by default with LifterLMS and we don’t have a way to change this unfortunately.

I’ll suggest you hire a developer to help you with this.

Thanks for the reply. I am satisfied with this for the moment, as Lifter is otherwise an amazing tool. Very appreciative of everything the free version can do.

In the future Lifter should work on this. It’s a feature that LearnDash has had in place for a while – it’s a similar concept to a blog post displaying category in the url.

All the best, and thank you Lifter LMS.

    Thanks for the suggestion @ms416

Kindly help by submitting this as a feature request here: https://lifterlms.com/feature-request/ and here is how LifterLMS handles feature requests: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-does-lifterlms-handle-feature-requests/

Look forward to hearing from you with enough explanation of your feature request.

    Regards,
