To begin with, this is a great plugin!

I have done the entire setup only to realize that the accepted currency is INR which is not fair for users in other countries. I am sure that implementing multiple currencies would not be that difficult as Stripe supports multiple currency payments.

Unfortunately some countries have restriction on international payments and for that one minor issue, a lot of people may not be able to access your plugin.

    A suggestion:

If you change the name to Event Agent in the plugin name, a lot of people would be able to find it using the search function. I tried a lot but had to specifically search EventAgent.ai which no one would do. And I am saying this because in theory, the plugin has a ton of functionality at an affordable rate as compared to some of the other plugins out there.

    Amar,

Thanks so much for your kind words.

I will immediately get busy to address your issues with Stripe. You will have a solution, soon.

I had not thought of changing the name, but I too have been dismayed at how hard it is to search for the plugin. You have a good idea, there.

    Always here to help,

    Alden

To make sure I understand, you’re in India, but you want to use USD?

I am in India and want to accept money in
The Indian rupee (sign: ?; currency code: INR).
Stripe has these settings and I have seen them in multiple other plugins.
    Thanks Aldeng.

Got it. Your first post implied E.ai was accepting only INR.

Okay, I’ve investigated multi-currency, and it will be next on my dev roadmap. I was planning to do this when I supported language translation, but I can decouple the features.

That would be really helpful ??.
    Thanks.

    Hey Aldeng!

Has this been implemented in the latest release?

    Thanks.

Sorry, I’ve been hard at work on features for my large global clients. I need to get through a 240 person retreat at the end of the year, and I have a client planning a 1000 person retreat. The good news is all that scale will result in a battle-tested platform for my smaller (even free) clients. The bad news is I won’t be able to get to it until January.

I don’t think multi-currency will be very hard, based on my reading. If there’s a break during our winter holidays, I might be able to squeeze it in early.

Thanks for you patience, it will be worth it!

Amar, I’m going to work on multi-currency this week. Stay tuned.

Okay, this is now delivered. Update the plugin, go to the Stripe section of the EA Config screen and choose your currency. Enjoy, and let me know if you run into any issues with it!
