change password-reset error message

  • Hi,

    when you enter a wrong username oder email-adress the message tells that there is no such user. I don’t want that information displayed because of security. No one needs to know whether the email is used from another user or not.

    Is there a way to change that behaviour to for example:
    “EMail was send, if you did not receive any pleasy try again.”

    You can use a translation file to change the text to what you want it to say. Thanks!

    Hi,

    the text won’t help that much, because you still can tell that its different from da successfull pw reset. Ist there a way to show the same page as when the reset is successfull?
