    Hi jolipopz,

I can’t tell what this might have to do with our plugin. Is there any kind of error on your site that references one of our plugin files?

I think because Ultimate WP Mail gets information also of the users, that when I try to change them it prevents me from doing so that the result is an error and thus I cannot change any password frontend or backend

    Hi jolipopz,

Is this related to you wanting to send out emails after a password change happens? Or are you just saying that, with our plugin activated, you can’t change the password for your WordPress users? If the former, then how do you currently have it set up in our plugin? If the latter, then:

    1) As soon as you deactivate our plugin, you can change the passwords again?
    2) What do you mean by front-end password changing?
    3) Did you configure any send events in our plugin? If so, can you let me know what and how?
    4) Try turning on debug mode in your WordPress and let me know if it displays any specific errors referencing one of our files when you try to change a password.

    This is for the Latter:

    1. Yes
    2. We have a front end Change Password Page, even if I use that still error
    3. Did not configure anything in the plugin
    4. Just this statement ““There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.””

Ok, thanks for the further info. It’s a little weird that you’re getting that error even though you didn’t make any changes at all in our plugin.

Usually the debug will provide more info than that, such as a notice, error or warning with a specific line number. Are you sure you have debug mode enabled?

Alternatively, you could check to see if you can get the PHP error logs off your server, which might provide a little more info.
