    Hi

We have about 6 sites, some posts originated on different sites. We want to centralise the posts so that they all have the same parent site. Right now we are deleting content and manually recreating the posts on the centralised site.

If we could assign a new parent, that would make life SO much easier?

If the content is already on all 6 sites, then I suggest first unlinking the posts from current parent site using the “unlink” bulk post action, then visiting the “new” parent site and running the “find unlinked children” bulk post action on the posts and pages.

    Unless I’ve missed something?

Sorry did not see your original response. Will try your suggestion above… can you summarise the steps? Not so clear what happens when.

Make sure you are an actual user of each blog where the child posts exist. Or use the all blogs add-on
    .
For each child post, in the post overview list, select the child post and use the “unlink” bulk post action.

After that’s done, find the “new” parent in the post list. Select the parent and use the “find unlinked children” bulk post action.

It should find all the child posts in the blogs you have access to, and make them children of this “new parent” post.
