change page to post

Hi – I am looking for a way to convert a lot of my pages to posts, and the Post Type Switcher is the only thing I can come up with. Unfortunately, it is untested with more recent WP versions. In fact, it has not been updated for 11 months and seems not even to be supported any longer. So you have any information about this?
