Change Page Title Separator

    Hi,

    WHen i search my website in google, i just noticed that the homepage has different separator than the other pages. Sample below

    Google results

    Homepage:Mywebsite
    Mywebsite | About
    Mywebsite | Contact

    etc..

    Even though i changed the separator in the snippet preview of yoast, Still Doesn’t want to update. Kindly help.

  • I am just a member here – by no means a Yoast expert – but I’m also grappling with this, due to a slightly different issue…

    Anyway, what is the entry for your title template under General > Homepage ?

    I would expect that iif you want the homepage to appear like your site links then it should be:

    %%sitename%% %%sep%% %%page%% %%sitedesc%%

    If you want the site name to appear after the page title (‘Home’), then it would be:

    %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% %%sitedesc%%

    I don’t see that stuff in general and homepage. Just asked to go to the page itself.
