Change page title (and some translations)?

    Hi, I have found a couple of solutions on the forums but neither have helped unfortunately. Any guidance is much appreciated.

    My site is in swedish so I have:

    1. altered the .po file via the plugin ‘CodeStyling Localization’ in the back-end but see no changes. I thought I could change the page title here as I was in here anyway. (I have then checked the .po file in a textedit program and have seen the change made)

    2. found a thread about altering __(“Upcoming Events”, ‘tribe-events-calendar’) in the ‘the-events-calendar.class.php’ file. But nothing happened.

    Much of plugin has been translated fine, but now when I tried to change the translations myself. I have changed the .po file in situ, in the events calendar plugin lang folder.

    Right now I don’t have any published events, but the page looks like this:

    The word ‘evenemang’ (event) is what I am trying to change.

    Am I missing anything?

    This is now resolved.

    After editing the .po file I wasn’t uploading BOTH the .po AND .mo files. Simple solution.

    Hi, I didn’t actually create anything. I took the existing translation that came with The Events Calendar’ from Tribe and changed one of their translations to suit our uses. Instead of ‘Kommande evenemang’ I changed ‘evenemang’ to ‘utbildning’.

    As our our version of WordPress was installed in Swedish, the plugin automatically used the swedish .po/.mo files that came with the plugin.
