change page template

Hi,
I have two page templates. the forum pages are automatically put into the main page template. But I want them to use my second page template. So, I can add a page with [wpforo] and choose my second template. But the subforums are using the main page template again, and I have no opportunity to change this. Is there a way to let the forum pages always work with my second page template?

Sorry for the late response.You just need to edit the page that intended for wpForo, on that page, you already have the [wpforo] shortcode and you’ll just need to change the template on that page.
