Change page slider to posts slider

    Hi there,
    I’d like to adapt a featured page slider to make it a posts slider. Just started using the free Catch Responsive theme, which only features page slider.

    Is there a general way to do that via CSS in a child theme?
    Can I edit the catchresponsive-featured-slider.php or other file?
    Will the child theme still be fully responsive afterwards?
