Change order to Make, Year, Engine, Model

    I have someone working on a website for me and there is a problem with making a change in reordering the drop downs.
    I want them in order Make, Year, Engine, Model
    I have seen different modifications but that order is not there and I’m not really sure how to get this done.

    Could someone push me in a right direction or maybe have this modification done and could share ?

    You can use the “Category Year Make Model” version:
    https://hottons.com/ymm_modifications

    Then rename “Make” to “Engine” and “Category” to “Make” in the files:
    wp-content/plugins/ymm-search/etc/config.php
    wp-content/plugins/ymm-search/view/frontend/templates/product/view/tabs/restriction.php

    Somehow I have not seen that modification until you mentioned it. That’s exactly what I needed. I was able to modify other ones and re-arrange make or model or engine no problem. But when I moved Year it was executing straight away after selecting year and I couldn’t work it out why.
    Anyway thank you for the tip – it worked.

    BTW excellent plugin – I will be buying your paid modification as well.

    I want the same exact thing, except without the Engine part, will this modification work?

    I downloaded Year Make Model.. Went into the 2 files and renamed “Year” with “Make” and “Make” with “Year” but it didnt work

    Hello,

    to: rvalenta

    You should rename only the titles (they start with capital letter).
    To not change the variable names in the PHP script.
