Change one page to another

  • I’ve change the permalink for the advertise page but it still doesn’t send users to skier lifestyle page.

    That’s because the advertise page shows 404 error. Either redo that page or reset your permalinks temporarily to see if the error still persists.

    You are NOT running WordPress 3.5.2 but a much older version 3.3.1. Update WordPress to 3.6 so that your site will be secure and most of your current problems will be solved.

    Hmmm…I’m not getting a 404 error. It looks fine to me. I did reset the permalinks to the originals. Can you explain how to link this page:

    https://skitheglobe.com/advertise/

    to this page:

    https://skitheglobe.com/category/skier-lifestyle/

    Also, I would like to backup my database b/f updating to WP 3.6. Is there an easy way to do this? Do you recommend a plug in, or something else?
