Change of Subdomain, path fail

Hi guys,

-uploaded wp files into html/sitefolder
-installed and activated WP on https://www.domain.org
-decided then to rather have https://www.domain.org point to the active static site located elsewhere and
– use test.domain.org to set up wp site

however, changed settings but it then fails on the paths somehow to show header image and icons. Checked db … cannot find anymore hard coded paths.
