In the related product section on the single product page underneath the product

You can add the products in upsells section by going to a particular product edit screen. Here at the button, you can see the Product data section. Just go to Linked Products and add the products in Upsells option.

To change the no of column per row you have add below given code.

For this activate the child theme. You can activate the child theme manually ro simply activate the child theme using the plugin given below:

After activating the child theme in your child theme functions.php file add below given code:

add_filter( 'woocommerce_upsell_display_args', 'custom_woocommerce_upsell_display_args' );	

function custom_woocommerce_upsell_display_args( $args ) {	
  	  $args['columns']        = 3;
  	   return $args;	
  	}

I put the code and I got this error

“The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 1:

syntax error, unexpected ‘&'”
