Change Name Of Custom Post Types

  • Hi Guys, my first time using and building a website with custom post types, cant believe ive not used them up until now, very useful when building big websites.

    I have made a bit of a school boy error though and hope someone here has a solution for me.

    When creating my custom post types i didnt take notice of the message “Not to Leave Spaces” and i have unfortunately left spaces between the custom post type names like “Agogo Bars” “Local Services” etc now i have this error message each time i try load the page “This webpage has a redirect loop” and it doesn’t load the page

    I understand that just changing the post type name to “local-services” would loose all the posts previously attached to “Local Services”, which i dont want to happen.

    Does anyone know if Post Type Switcher plugin would do the job? Im using Custom Post Type UI
