Change name and move to new host

Thanks – I successfully moved the old WP to the new host and changed the name. However, I cannot get into the wp-admin.

I went through the email reset, the phpmyadmin reset and finally the emergency.php reset – still not working. I notice that when i press enter it tries to go back to the old location of the wp site – any ideas?

Did you change the URL settings in the site to the new domain name? If not try the functions file method:

Is the new domain name nameservers set correctly to the new host?

Did you update the URLs and links in the site – if not, this may be useful:

Thanks WPyogi! I have changed the functions file before but never had any luck and now it seems to be working! Now on to change all the permalinks!
