The multisite WP was installed 2014 in a subir /wp using subdirectories. Now I want to put it into production so the users can use mydomain.com instead of mydomain.com/wp.
    Then there are two choices
    1. move everything into the root directory
    2. let the code remain in /wp and copy .htaccess and index.php into root etc.

    I have two questions
    1. What are the pros and cons between these two solutions apart from that it seems to be fewer changes in the second solution and then less risky.
    2. The hints in Codex and other sites are more into making the move in the second solution for a single site rather than a multisite. For ex there are no general settings in network admin and no wordpress URL or site URL in General settings for each site. Also .htaccess nor index.php are similar for single site and multisite WP.
However in Network admin under Sites there is a folder Settings with site URL and home.
The question is – which changes must be made and where and in which order for at multiste?
My site address is styrso.nu/wp. In the root there is an old Dreamweaver version which should be deleted.
