Change mortgage tab to savings

This is a big ask, but…
Can someone put me in the right direction for changing this plugin (when using it as a widget) so that instead of showing a mortgage and loan tab, it is a ‘savings’ and loan tab.
Functionally I’d like it to do the same as it currently does, but for the savings tab to calculate if someone invests a fixed amount (i.e. not monthly savings), how much that would be worth after a chosen period of time, e.g. 1,2,3,4 or 5 years.
My knowledge of code is okay, I’m sure I can do this, just not sure where to start…!
Any help would be greatly appreciated…
