change meta font size

Hi,

I have changed the the meta title font size with the following code

selector .vp-portfolio__items {
    --vp-items-style-fade--meta-title__font-size: 16px;
}

But the date under the title is still larger. See screenshot here: https://pasteboard.co/ocG0bhKdhdID.png

Can you help me to change its font size? I’ve tried everything I found in the CSS docs on GitHub but nothing worked.
