Change Meta Description – SEO

  • How would I change the meta description of my site with the Yoast SEO plugin. What would I put in the templates.

  • Just put the meta in yoast site setting that’s all .

    The description doesn’t seem to show up on google.

    Google doesn’t always use the meta description. It does sometimes, but there’s never been any reliable way to “force” it to use that or snippet of text from your page, or some other random text that it’s found. The best thing that you can do is leave it and hope that your site gets enough ranking for Google to use the meta tag instead. This will take time, and may never happen. No one except Google can tell you when or why.
