change menu font colours in sketch theme

  • Hi I have just migrated my blog from wp.com to wp.org and seem to have some new menu colours that don’t look great, I want to change them but I am unsure how, I have never worked with CSS before I am a real newbie sorry, but would love some help if possible, thanks

    I am using the sketch theme and my site is https://www.mybelovedstyle.com

  • Hi Aimee,

    Many themes include options to control the colour of certain aspects of the site, including the navigation – I would look for that first. If not, you can either update the stylesheet of the theme to include your custom declarations – although it’s usually recommended that you do this by way of a child theme, so that your changes are not lost if you install an update to the theme at some point in the future.
