• When you change the location of the Media Upload folder in Settings, Media to a subfolder of the /wp_contents/upload folder this works fine. But as I discovered the hard way when you want to go back to the /wp_contents/uploads folder and remove the sub folder under this setting the images are continued to be loaded to the sub folder. Only way is to remove the line of PHP code that was added to the bottom of the wp-config.php file manually. Took me a while before I solved it… Using WP 5.5.3.

    Not sure if it is a priority to fix , but perhaps a health warning on the Settgs Media page?
