change mandatory field by value of other field

Hi.

I want to realise a “callback” function, like a phone number text field and a callback y/n query. how can i make the phone number field mandatory if callback=true and not required if callback=false ?
i tried with conditional fields, but if i change from No to Yes i get a “new” phone number field which is empty …
