Is there a way to edit the default button with Neve? In Customizer I can edit the look of Primary and Secondary buttons, but not the default button.

  • Hi @audunmb!

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

The default button style that you are referring to is controlled from the Gutenberg default color palette, not from the theme, that is why you can change only the primary and secondary buttons in the Customizer. Changing the Gutenberg default button style can be done in the editor by clicking on that button, expanding the settings sidebar, expanding the “Color” section and choosing the desired colors for the button background and text, as you can see here.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks for your answer. I wanted to have it default to 1px border radius instead of 5px, so that I don’t have to change it manually for every block. But I guess that’s a “no, can’t be done” then.

@audunmb You are right, it can’t be done automatically for all the default buttons using the theme’s settings. The default button style can be changed only from the editor and the settings for the radius can be found by expanding the “Border & Box Shadow” section, but they have to be manually modified for every block.

    Have a great day!
