Hi Niels – The update was simply to remove a message from www.remarpro.com on the plugin page.

We had not updated this plugin for more than two years – and had not had a reason to since it works well and has remained compatible with each WordPress update.

However when a plugin has not been updated for that time period, www.remarpro.com auto-displays an alert that the plugin has not been updated recently and may no longer be compatible.

So we tested compatibility with WP 4.3.1 and updated the plugin version number to eliminate that message.

Hi RPS team! Thanks so much for your informative response – it’s much appreciated and I’ve hence successfully updated our site.

Just a little side note: Your explanation sounds perfectly suitable for the change log. In my view, having such an update signals a couple of really good things about your plugin: quality of plugin code and that the plugin is still supported.

And mentioning that in the change log should nothing but strengthen your existing and potential users’ confidence in your plugin.

Thanks again for your really useful plugin!
