Change "Leave a Comment" to link to Forum

I love this plugin–it’s just what my site needed.

I would like to change the “Leave a Comment” link at the end of each post to go directly to the forum. Basically, the link that displays when “On the post page, show:” > “A link to the topic” is selected. This would be more streamlined, since normally you would have to click “Leave a Comment” and then click the actual comment link.

Do you know of a way to do this or have any suggestions?

I think this is an interesting way to immediately go to the forum from our blog page. It is worth to be tried so that it can build up link in many ways. Thank you.

So you want the topic link to go to the forum instead of the topic itself? Or do you want to add a link to the forum in addition to the topic link?

I’m sure you could set this up in a modified comments-bbpress-link.php template, but I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking. I’d be happy to provide more info if you’ve got details. ??

I would like the comment link to take you directly to the topic in the forum, rather than to the article’s page.

For example, if you go to my site at crystalsacraments.com and click “Join the Discussion” (which is my comment link) at the bottom of the “About the Project” post, it takes you to https://crystalsacraments.com/archives/99#respond

I would like it instead to take me to the topic page directly, which is at https://crystalsacraments.com/forums/topic/about-the-project (and jump down to the Reply To form like before, if possible).
