• Hello!

I have seached the web for hours to get a solution to this, but no. I need help.

Website is installed with correct language: norwegian.
Website is also set to norwegian in Settings-General.

Still, everytime I hover over the search bar in header, it says “Search”, and I want it to say “S?k” (the norwegian word for it). Also, when searching, on the results page it says “search”, and under the results it says “Continue reading..” while I want it to say “Les mer..”.

So what the freeeeak do I do?

The theme is Eimear, using Beaver Builder.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Most likely, those text strings have been added by your theme. This will mean uploading the Norwegian translation for the theme itself. You would need to check with the theme author to see if such a translation is available.

If not, the theme should at least have a themename.pot file, which you can use translate yourself. WordPress had documentation on translating themes, which should help go through the process.
